Article 17 — Conformity and Warranty

Aurelle warrants that its products conform to the contract, to the specifications contained in the offer, to reasonable requirements of reliability and usability, and to the legal and regulatory provisions in force at the time the contract is concluded.

Aurelle products are cosmetics intended for topical use. Each product is supplied with a batch number and a period-after-opening or best-before indication printed on the packaging.

Aurelle warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and manufacturing under normal use by the original purchaser, until the best-before date printed on the packaging. This warranty covers manufacturing defects such as damaged or defective packaging, incorrect filling, or a product whose texture, colour or scent has visibly altered before its stated shelf life under normal storage conditions.

Any defect or incorrectly delivered product must be reported to Aurelle in writing within 14 days of delivery, together with clear photographs and the batch number printed on the packaging. Where a claim is accepted, replacement or refund will be provided in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy.

Aurelle is not responsible for the ultimate suitability of the product for each individual consumer, nor for advice regarding the use or application of the product. Individual skin responds differently, and results vary from person to person.

This warranty does not apply where:

  • The product has been used, stored or handled contrary to the instructions printed on the packaging or provided on this website, including storage in extreme heat, direct sunlight or humidity.
  • The product has been decanted, mixed, diluted or otherwise altered by the consumer or a third party.
  • The product has been used beyond its best-before date or beyond the indicated period after opening.
  • The packaging has been damaged after delivery, or the batch number has been defaced, altered or removed.
  • The claim relates to normal depletion of the product through use.
  • The consumer's skin has reacted individually to an ingredient properly listed on the packaging. In this case, please refer instead to the adverse-reaction procedure set out in our Return & Refund Policy.

Except for the warranties set forth herein, Aurelle disclaims all other warranties, express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. All implied warranties which may be imposed by applicable law are limited to the terms of this limited warranty. In no event shall Aurelle be liable for incidental, special or consequential damages. You agree that replacement or refund, as applicable, is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of the limited warranty set forth herein. If, despite the foregoing limitations, Aurelle becomes liable to you for damages under this agreement, Aurelle's liability shall be limited to the amount paid for the product concerned.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction. We advise you to consult the applicable national and state or local laws.

Who is protected

The original customer who purchased the Aurelle product is covered by this warranty. Proof of purchase may be requested. If proof of purchase cannot be presented, Aurelle cannot be held responsible for warranty service.
