Subscription Policy
These Subscription Terms govern any recurring plan you start with Aurelle. Placing a subscription order means you've read and accepted what follows, so take a moment with it. Anything concerning one-off orders is handled separately in our Return & Refund Policy.
The Basics of Your Plan
An Aurelle subscription sends your brightening cream to you automatically, at the interval you pick when you check out — the idea being that you never hit an empty tube halfway through a routine. Each cycle, we charge your saved payment method at the start of the period, then prepare and ship your order.
Everything is managed from your account dashboard, where you're free to:
- Change how often your cream arrives
- Edit where it ships
- Skip an upcoming cycle (once your initial period is behind you)
- Pause or end your plan
Your Starting Period: Two Cycles
Here's the one thing to know before you subscribe. Every plan begins with a two-cycle starting period, and a subscription stays active through both of those cycles — it can't be ended until the two are complete and both payments have gone through.
The reason is straightforward. Subscribing gets you a real markdown on the retail price, and we're only able to price it that way because the starting period gives us something predictable to plan around. Take that away and the discount doesn't work.
Placing the order means you're agreeing to see those first two cycles through and to cover their charges.
If you ask to cancel partway through, that's fine — the cancellation simply lands at the close of the second cycle. Until then, your shipments arrive and your billing continues as normal.
We don't refund charges from these first two cycles, unless the law where you live requires it, or unless your situation falls under the Results Promise described next. Switching your frequency or swapping products won't restart or lengthen this period.
Our Results Promise
We stand behind what's in the tube — but skin takes its time, and we'd rather you actually give the cream a fair run than judge it early. If you've used it properly and genuinely aren't seeing a difference, we'll make it right.
Not happy with your first subscription order? You can ask for a full refund under this promise, provided:
- You've applied it as directed — morning and night, on clean skin, with daily SPF — for at least 60 days in a row.
- You reach out within 90 days of the day it was delivered.
- You can show the cream was genuinely used — a tube that's empty or run down to roughly what 60 days of twice-daily use would leave.
This promise covers your first subscription order only, with one claim per customer for a given product. Single purchases outside a subscription don't qualify.
If your skin reacts:
Stop using the product right away and get in touch. For a refund tied to a reaction or irritation, we'll ask for clear before-and-after photos showing what happened. Reaction claims aren't held to the 60-day rule.
Making a claim:
Email contact@aurelleskin.com with your order number and the details. We'll look into it and get back to you within 3 to 5 business days.
One thing worth flagging: approving a refund under this promise doesn't switch off your subscription on its own. Ending the plan is a separate step you take from your dashboard, and it's still bound by the two-cycle starting period above. That said, if we approve your claim while you're still inside that period, we may choose to release you from the cycles you have left.
Ending or Pausing Your Plan
Once your starting period is done:
Wind things down whenever you like, either from your dashboard or by emailing contact@aurelleskin.com. It takes effect at the end of the cycle you're currently in — nothing further is charged, and any shipment you've already paid for still comes to you.
Taking a break instead:
If you'd rather pause than quit, you can do that from the dashboard. Pausing doesn't reset or stretch the two-cycle starting period, so if you pause before finishing it, the leftover cycles pick back up when you return.
Left untouched before your next billing date, a plan renews on its own.
Charges and Missed Payments
We run the charge automatically as each cycle opens. Should it fail, we'll let you know and try again over the next few days. If we still can't collect after a fair number of attempts, we may hold your subscription until the balance is settled.
A failed or declined payment during the two-cycle starting period doesn't cancel what you owe for those cycles — the amount stays due. And reversing or disputing a charge you've committed to isn't the same as cancelling. If a committed cycle gets charged back, we reserve the right to respond to the dispute with a record of the subscription terms you agreed to at checkout.
How Your Payment Data Is Handled
Aurelle runs on Shopify. Every payment moves through Shopify's PCI-compliant systems and its vetted payment partners.
We never see, store, or touch your card numbers or financial details. That information lives nowhere on our side — not on our servers, not anywhere in our systems.
Updates to These Terms
These terms can change over time. When they do, we'll post the new version here with a fresh effective date. Updates apply to subscriptions started after that date and won't quietly rewrite the terms of a plan that's already running.
Agreeing to These Terms
Completing a subscription checkout confirms you've read these terms, understood them, and accepted them — the two-cycle starting period included. They're shown to you during checkout, and going through with the purchase is how you accept them.
