Most cleansers strip the skin barrier, and on melasma-prone skin that backfires — irritation drives pigment production, not away from it.
This one uses amino-acid based surfactants instead of sulfates. They lift oil, sunscreen and makeup without dissolving the lipids that keep your barrier intact, so skin feels clean rather than tight.
The rest of the formula works on tone and calm. Turmeric root extract and niacinamide support a more even complexion, while oat kernel, centella asiatica and glycerin soothe and hydrate as you rinse.
Clean, undisturbed skin also matters for what comes next: your treatment cream absorbs better when nothing is sitting on the surface.

How to use: morning and evening. Massage a small amount over damp skin with fingertips, avoiding friction, then rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with your treatment cream, then SPF in the morning.
